New Thin Solid Films papers

Recently, we managed to publish three new articles in our prefereed journal Thin Solid Films, look what they are about:

  1. Comparison of the growth of Bismuth thin films using different vapor deposition techniques; a nice collaboration work product of our BisNano project.
  2. Optical properties of La2O3 thin films, a challenging material to achieved and whose optical properties are not very well known. It is also the result of a collaboration with CICATA-Tampico.
  3. Photocatalytic properties of beta-Bi2O3 thin films produced by spray pyrolisis, but the new idea was to deposit the films on Silica filters to enhance the surface area. It is a product from our International Collaboration project PHOCSCLEEN.

2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,200 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 20 trips to carry that many people.
